The ICO has recently published its final guidance on data protection and consumer Internet of Things products.
The Internet of Things (IoT) covers “physical products incorporating sensors, software, processing ability and different types of connectivity (including the internet), which enable these products to process information” They include a wide range of products from fitness trackers, to home entertainment, to consumer medical devices and beyond.
