ICO publishes guidance on UK BCR addendum

The ICO has now released its UK addendum to the EU BCRs with accompanying guidance.

The guidance walks through the application process (which can be used by those who already have EU BCRs) and looks at the form itself.

As mentioned previously, the ICO has designed the addendum so that it can be used as a standard form or as a template on which to base a more tailored document.

The ICO hopes that this will significantly decrease the amount of time taken to approve UK BCRs (where EU BCRs are already in place), especially where the addendum is used as a standard form.
