The EDPB has published guidelines on Article 37 of the LED for consultation.
The guidance relates to the application of Article 37 LED to transfers of personal data by competent authorities of EU countries to third country authorities or international organisations in the field of law enforcement.
The guidelines aim to provide clarity on the legal standard for appropriate safeguards including the relevant factors for the assessment of whether such safeguards exist.
