ICO issues 2026 public attitude survey

The ICO has recently issued its 2026 public attitude survey on data protection rights.

76% of the individuals who responded said they had exercised a data protection right, which is stable when compared to the last two years. The good news is that there has been an increase in satisfaction in terms of how organisations respond to requests, although there is an overall increase in anxiety relating to the protection of data in general.

If you want to ensure you are getting it right when it comes to data protection rights requests please get in touch by emailing hello@hellodpo.com and the team will be happy to help.

You can find the ICO’s report here.
