X (formerly Twitter) is facing challenges to its privacy practices from a couple of sources.
The EU commission has commenced proceedings under the Digital Services Act in relation to “risk management, content moderation, dark patterns, advertising transparency and data access for researchers.”

Meanwhile, noyb has issued a complaint against X with the Dutch data protection regulator in relation to its advertising targeting practices, claiming that X has unlawfully used religious beliefs and political views for targeted advertising purposes.
