UK makes law enforcement processing adequacy decision in favour of Guernsey

The UK has determined as of 7 July 2023 that law enforcement authorities can send personal data to their counterparts in Guernsey after the UK Government concluded that “Guernsey has strong privacy laws in place which will protect data transfers to Guernsey while upholding the rights and protections of UK citizens.

This is the first decision of its kind by the UK.
