A reminder regarding EU SCCs

This is just a quick reminder that 21 March 2024 marked the end of the period in which the standard contractual clauses originally issued under the 1995 EU Data Protection Directive, sometimes known as the “old SCCs” can be used. These terms are now no longer a valid mechanism for international data transfers.

If you are concerned that you have contracts which still contain these clauses and you would like help migrating to the new EU/UK (as relevant) standard clauses, please get in touch with here.
