EDPB publishes AI auditing project

On 27 June 2024 the EDPB published an AI auditing project. The aim of the project is to “map, develop and pilot tools that help evaluate the GDPR compliance of AI systems and applications.”

The project includes:

  • A checklist for AI auditing
  • A proposal for AI leaflets
  • A proposal for Algo-scores

This is highly technical documentation and may require a combination of information technology and information privacy professionals to properly consider the detail.
