The ICO has confirmed the trial period in which the ICO explored using a range of regulatory tools (as well as fines where appropriate) to help to improve compliance in the public sector, has come to an end. The ICO will now review the trial and confirm its findings in the autumn. In the meantime, the approach taken in the trial will continue.
