Update on the AI Act

The AI Act has taken a step closer to becoming a reality, with the European Parliament adopting their negotiating position last month. The process will now proceed to the trilogue, a discussion between the European Parliament, the European Commission and the Council of the EU. Some commentators have hopes that it may be enacted towards the end of 2023/beginning of 2024, but this will depend on how negotiations progress.

We will provide an update as the act progresses through the legislative process.
